New “TowelRoot” APK Roots Galaxy S5 and Many Other Devices with a Single Click|Download
You've probably never heard of a guy named George Hotz.If
you've heard about it, then you know it's one of the laws of the world of
exploits. In 2007, Hotz, who was 17 at the time, was the first person in the
world to release an iPhone.
A few years later, he rose to fame after hacking Sony's
PlayStation 3 and then reverse-engineering the device. George Hotz was sued by
Sony in 2011 in an important case (SCEA v. Hotz). Sony established that Hotz
violated copyright laws and the DMCA.root
The case was finally settled outside the courtroom and Hotz
had to agree not to re-pirate Sony's firmware. The best that came out of this
case, however, was the rap video by Hotz.
Today, Hotz continues working on technology and apparently
launched a startup. Meanwhile, I write rap songs and I chased Sony lawyers, we
search on some Android devices.
In fact, Hotz has come up with one of the best rooting
methods available today. Root previously non-rooting devices, such as Verizon
and AT & T Galaxy S5s, as well as many other devices.
The best of all is that it does so with a single touch of an
APK file. It is an easy madness.
George Hotz, who goes by the name of geohot online, seems to
have won the $ 18,000 reward that is offered for rooting the Galaxy S5. That
reward was offered by the members of the XDA Developer Forums.

HOW TOWELROOT WORKS
On June 15, geohot released his new rooting method at
TowelRoot.com.
At that website, you can download the APK file and read some
instructions. The website, however, is very basic.
Here’s how the rooting method works:
Step 1) Click the Lambda icon on TowelRoot.com
Step 2) Install the APK file
Step 3) Run TowelRoot
That’s it. Pretty easy, right?
Geohot says this is his second Android root and he will do
more if he gets the support. Since he’s releasing the tool for free, he was
hoping to receive some donations.

SUPPORTS ALL PHONES
Geohot says that this method of rooting is compatible with
all phones launched before June 3, 2014. "It is a crazy claim and,
probably, there is no sea.
If you try to use your phone with this method and it does
not work, then there may be a solution. Geohot allows you to send it by email
to your Gmail address in geohot + towelroot.
Geohot also gives credit to another developer named Pinkie
Pie, who revealed the vulnerability in the first place.
Oh, and apparently, Geohot was so impressed with his rap
skills in the video that a lot of songs have been released on his Soundcloud.

In any case, this could be one of the best Android root
exploits ever released. It seems to root all the major devices and, best of
all, do it with a few clicks.
